Once a drywall project is prepped and ready, a spray technician will masking tape and thin poly the walls. They will prime the ceiling with a base primer/sealer or tinted primer (Our clients can specify a paint colour if desired). Then, the fun begins. On any floor in your house or commercial space the ceiling will have a splatter coat applied. The technician will then knockdown the splatter coat creating beautiful textured islands.
The California Texture Ceiling is a exceptional alternative to a flat ceiling, and can hide minor framing imperfections from in and out joist systems. The alternative to a California Ceiling is a flat ceiling, and for a visual flat look, the joists need to be levelled, or a drop ceiling installed to a laser level before drywall gypsum installation.
