After the plastering/taping phase is complete, its time for Mauro Taping plus to get started on the interior painting. Along with our painting service we offer our General Contracting of professional painting sub-trades. We will prime the exposed plaster and drywall compound, and start with the ceiling cutting and rolling.
After two paint cut ins, we’ll roll the ceiling twice. We will then cut the walls in twice, and roll them twice. This is where the attention to detail comes in. In between prime and first coat we will touch up whatever we see with a halogen light. The halogen light is like a x-ray for plaster, and we will expose the spots which are invisible to the naked eye. In between paint coats we will look for any minor defects and remedy them before the final roll. This process assures a beautiful finish of Interior Painting.
Sometimes we arrive at a job and there are obvious problems with drywall joints above door ways, or butt seems where drywall gypsum board was tied in. We will remedy these deficiencies to a higher standard upon request, and can build the tasks into the free quote.
Some white paints can take 3-5 coats, and we will paint as many layers as needed. For straight cut lines we use tape where needed, and back cut ceiling where deficiencies are until the job looks wonderful! Call Today for a free quote!
Some clients are not fond of the flat ceiling look. Fortunately we offer a California Textured ceiling that is striking and beautiful. We can use interior paint with whatever colour you desire for personal preference, and spray the texture mud on top for a beautiful finish, or we can use a tinted primer which blends remarkably in with the texture mud for a seamless California Texture.
